Thank you Lassana Sri Lankans

When we requested you to send photographs for Lassana Sri Lanka we never imagined how you all would respond to our call. But, your response is beyond belief. We have got photographs from you to fill one full year and we are receiving more each day.

It proved to us and the country how much you all love this country (including foreigners) and how you see the Lassana (beauty) of Sri Lanka. One reader from the United States wrote to us saying how she used the Daily News Lassana Sri Lanka photos as her screensavers and it helped her to think of her beloved country. We received many letters and calls from our readers thanking us and encouraging us.

Let us continue to see the beauty of Sri Lanka. Come what may, this is the island in the sun. We got plans to take the Lassana Sri Lanka campaign beyond the pages of Daily News.We'll let you know more about it later.
