SriLankan Airlines on an educational service

TRAINING: SriLankan Airlines will take its award winning service to the classrooms, launching the island's first internationally accredited airline training academy on Wednesday June 14, 2006.

The International Aviation Academy (IAA) will offer ground and on board training programmes, allowing young adults to pursue highly rewarding careers in the international airline arena.

The IAA, a brainchild of SriLankan Airline's Human Resources Development Centre, will cater to a growing demand for trained and on-the-job experienced staff by rapidly expanding global airlines.
