Secretary Defence, Director Colombo National Hospital, Director Accident
Service, all Medical Specialists, Doctors and Staff at the Colombo
National Hospital and the Miliary Hospital to ensure my cure.
My tribute also goes to Venerable Members of the clergy of all major
religions for the blessings they invoked on me by way of Bodhipujas and
various other prayer sessions.
I am quite sure that all your wishes and blessings no doubt expedited
my path to recovery and miraculously revived me, enabling me to voice
these few words. I am also grateful to all the citizens living here and
aborad for their prayers and well-wishes.
I am fully confident that I will be able to resume my
responsibilities and other commitments soon irrespective of the attempts
made by ruthless and destructive forces. I fought back with courage.
I assure you that I will continue with my responsibilities and
obligations to safeguard the interests of the country in the future,
too." |
