If you haven't been living under a rock the past couple of months, then the name "Arctic Monkeys" should send a shiver down your spine.

Probably the most exciting and sought out band from the UK since, well Oasis, the Monkeys reveal their true nature in their current EP "Who The **** Are Arctic Monkeys?" "Cigarette Smoker Fiona", "Departure Lounge" are included in their new EP, which is filled with the Monkeys' prominent bang guitar rifts and rhythms that are heart-felt. The Monkeys', whose debut album broke all records, is taking a break after supporting Oasis and then hitting the road again for their own tour.

Less than a year after her American debut hit the dance floors with "Music Of The Sun", 17-year-old Barbados beauty, Rihanna, returns with a second CD, "A Girl Like Me", which was released last month. While her flagship single, "SOS," is edging up the charts, "A Girl Like Me" shows a progression from her first album, perhaps owing to the collaborations with songwriter Ne-Yo and also includes duets with Sean Paul and almost sounds rock.

A solid sunny album, but will it's shelf-life be up before the year is out?

According to reports, pop star Mariah Carey employs assistants to "help" her in things that Mariah couldn't live with out. This includes an assistant whose job is to keep her skirts from "touching the floor," and carrying a designer Luis Vuitton backpack filled with bottled water so Mariah never goes thirsty and making sure Mariah is constantly comfortable.

In other Crazy Carey news, the singer recently invested in a piano owned by Marilyn Monroe and because she identified so closely with the legendary star, put it in her newly remodelled penthouse in New York City.

Looks like indecisive Britney has finally made up her mind, much to the surprise of her agents and even her remaining few fans around the world. Reports claim the singer and her husband Kevin Federline were expecting a second child - just months after the birth of their son Sean Preston. Britney hasn't confirmed that she's pregnant, but the news (and pictures of a growing belly) are everywhere.

And Britney did so do some baby clothes shopping at the fancy Los Angeles store Petit Tresor, says a "source," and was overheard indicating that she is indeed expecting another child. The singer's agents have been trying to help the star launch her film career, but have been left in the dark regarding her family plans. Spears was reportedly eyeing the role of JANIS JOPLIN in an upcoming biopic, but if she is pregnant, she wouldn't be able to take on the challenging part. The source adds, "She really wanted to do it, but she knows she can't."
