Devi Balika, Richmond, Musaeus top in O/L

COLOMBO: K.M.I.W. Madushi Senaviratne of Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo, Budhima Kasun Fernando (Richmond College, Galle) and Maheshi Sandunika Wije Bandara (Musaeus College, Colombo) obtained the best results at last year's GCE (O/L).

The GCE O/L results were released on Friday. Students in Colombo were able to get their results as principals had collected the results from the Examination Department.

Private candidates' results have been posted, an Examination Department spokesman said. Results could be downloaded on www.doenets.lk.

Principals said due to the results being available on the internet, students are reluctant to come to schools to check the results.
