PM visits Army Chief at hospital

COLOMBO: Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka visited the General Hospital where Army Commander Lt. General Sarath Fonseka is recovering at the ICU following Tuesday's terrorist attack.

He conveyed his wishes for the Lt. General's speedy and full recovery to the Army Commander's wife who has been keeping a constant vigil. The Prime Minister also spoke with Dr. Hector Weerasinghe and Dr. Anil Jasinghe who were constantly monitoring the patient.
