Construction Chamber to hold Excon 2006

FAIR: Chamber of Construction Industry CCI Sri Lanka, the
accredited representative of the construction industry has formulated 'Excon
2006' to enhance capacities and competitiveness of the domestic
industry.
This will be held at the BMICH from May 27 to 29.
"This event is not another trade exhibition. It is meant to promote
linkages, among construction contractors, property and infrastructure
developers, investors, and vendors of plant, machinery, equipment and
technologies manufacturers, and suppliers of construction inputs
including furniture and interior decor accessory suppliers and service
providers," Secretary General CCI Dakshitha Talgodapitiya said.
He said it will enable everyone in the field of construction and
related fields to demonstrate their capabilities and capacities.
In addition to the large number of market leaders who are expected to
participate as trade stallholders, CCI has arranged for the
participation of small and medium enterprises relating to construction
industry to attend 'buyers and sellers meet' which will be conducted as
a concurrent event.
The event will offer opportunities to discover new products, and
services, venture into new markets, gain market access and do real
business.
It will be the ideal platform to forge linkages since a large number
of visitors from countries like France, Belgium, India Malaysia Holland
and UK will be present seeking new markets and establishment of joint
ventures Talgodapitiya said. |
