assistance to trace his mother, Colombage Violet Matilda of Wellampitiya.
Pushpakumara was adopted by an Australian couple about 20 years ago.

Kidney patient seeks help
Jayakodi Arachchige Aruni Dinesha Kumari, 24, of 59, Daluwakotuwa,
Kochchikada, is suffering from an acute kidney disorder and presently
under treatment at the National Hospital's Ward 47-A Colombo. Consultant
Physician of the Hospital Dr. M. S. G. de Silva has diagnosed her case
to be End Stage Renal Disease which needs Renal Transplantation.
Since she is financially unstable, her parents seek public assistance
to cure her. Benefactors are requested to remit contributions towards

Applications called for quazis post
COLOMBO:The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) called for applications
for the posts of quazis in several areas under the Muslim Marriages and
Divorce Act.
The posts in Hambantota, Nuwara-Eliya, Trincomalee, Badulla, Horana,
Colombo North, Balapitiya, Mawanella and Kalpitiya will be filled after
an interview.
Application forms could be obtained from the Judicial Service
Commission secretariat and the deadline for filled applications is April

School holidays
COLOMBO: School holidays begin today and the new term will commence
on April 24 after the Sinhala and Tamil New Year and Easter season.
World Health Day
COLOMBO: The World Health Day falls today. This year the day is
celebrated with 'Working Together For Health' as the theme.
The main ceremony will be held at the BMICH today with Healthcare and
Nutrition Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva as the chief guest.
Representatives from the World Health Organisation will participate.
Public lecture
COLOMBO: The Association of Chartered Bankers of Sri Lanka Trust
organised a public lecture on Condominium Rules and Regulations in Sri
Lanka. It was held yesterday at the National Savings Bank Auditorium.
Condominium Management Authority General Manager Athula Wimalaratne
conducted the lecture.
