An ill-timed remark
The month of March has not been a good one for
the Ministry of Sports. Not only have they been exposed of human
trafficking, which has more or less stunned the nation and brought
shame on it, but further damage was done when the secretary to the
Minister of Sports came out with words that would not go down well
with the Sri Lankan public.

Lanka walking on thin ice

on-going one-day international series against Pakistan is to win the
third and final game at the SSC today and pin their hopes on India
to beat England twice before the cut-off date of April 1 to avoid

be felicitated tonight at a reception by Sri Lanka Cricket when they
host a dinner to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Cricket World
