Shehan another swimming star

SWIMMING: Shehan de Silva of Trinity College Kandy who competed in 100 metres backstroke, 100 metres dolphin stroke, 50 metres backstroke, 50X4 individual medley, clinched 4 gold medals and became the champion in under-12 age group in the Dialog GSM Age Group Swimming Championship meet held recently at the Ananda College swimming pool, Colombo.

At the Central Province Aquatic Sports Association (CEPASA) inaugural swimming meet and Kingswood Aquatic Club inaugural under-12 Age Group he became the swimming champion last year.

Shehan also won two silver medals in Karnataka-Bangalore where he participated in sixth state short course Age Group Swimming Championship 2005.

Migara Hulangamuwa, Imuditha Athurupana, Taveesh Edisooriya helped Shehan de Silva to create two meet records in Sri Lanka Schools Age Group Relay Championship Meet held in Sugathadasa Indoor Swimming Pool, Colombo last week.
