Sri Rahula in shock win over Antonians

CRICKET: Sri Rahula College, Katugastota scored a shock 31 run win over St. Anthony's College, Kandy in their schools Lemonade Trophy limited over cricket tournament match played at Katugastota yesterday.

The Antonians chasing a victory target of 184 were 87 for 3 at one stage but a middle order batting slump saw them struggling at 107 for 7 before being dismissed for 152. 3 batsmen were run out and 4 were adjudged leg before.

Antonians also played without 3 of their key players last year's captain Jude Fernando, Peter Samarakoon and Adil Reyal but this does not take away the gloss from Rahula's victory over their stronger opponents.
