Kandy Techno Exhibition on March 17

EXHIBITION: The Kandy Branch of Sri Lanka Institute of Engineers invites innovative people in Kandy in the field of construction to display their talents at the giant exhibition to be held at the Kandy City Centre on March 17 to 19 for the first time.

Secretary IESL Central Province N. U. K. Ranatunga said that this event will be a unique opportunity for those in Kandy because it will show the latest in engineering equipment products and services from every corner of the country.

Also participating in Techno Kandy means that they are at the largest and most popular engineering exhibition in Sri Lanka organised outside Colombo.

Local and foreign industrialists, manufacturers and distributors will promote their products and services and will exhibit agricultural and plantation engineering, civil, electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering, automobile and construction industry and information technology.

The organising committee has made arrangements to give special discount rates to the stall holders and free stalls to university students as their objective is to take technology to the villages. The exhibition coincides with IESL's centenary celebrations.

There will be cultural shows, magic shows, musical shows with leading musicians.
