INCO 2006 in June

EXHIBITION: Inco-2006 Industrial Exhibition and Trade Fair organised by the Institution of Incorporated Engineers, Sri Lanka (IIESL) will be held at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike International Exhibition Centre of the BMICH on June 23, 24 and 25, 2006 for the fourth consecutive year In 2003, INCO held its inaugural exhibition.

This was followed by a series of similar customer focused exhibitions held annually. In addition to the exhibitors from the industrial and commercial sectors in Sri Lanka several exhibitors from the SAARC region as well as from other countries in Asia and Europe too are expected to participate in Inco-2006 as in the previous exhibitions.

Exhibitors from industrial and commercial organisations, local and overseas, will represent primarily in electrical, mechanical and civil engineering, automobile engineering, engineering products and services, agricultural and plantation, refrigeration and air conditioning, electronics and telecommunication, in addition to computer applications, textile technology, aviation and marine engineering, hire purchase schemes, leasing and financial services and educational institutions too would be on display.

A series of other events is connected with INCO. These include engineering quiz programmes, engineering seminars and workshops, poster competitions, inventor competitions, HNDE 20th anniversary celebrations and Inco Ladies Circle events.

"A Ladies Circle too has been formed by the wives of the members of the Institution, to expand the scope of Inco-2006.

They have planned to host of activities on the 23rd and 24th June evening at the Conference Area of the Exhibition hall, Chairman Inco, Shantha Senarath said.

There will be a wide range of activities such as lectures on nutrition, family health, child psychology etc. and workshops on cookery by expert chefs and beauty culture shows by eminent beauticians.

A panel of adjudicators appointed by the INCO Organising Committee will visit all the stalls during the three days and select the winners and the runners-up INCO-Awards in order to encourage the exhibitors to improve their standards of product display, demonstration methods, stall construction.

The awards would be presented for Best Locally Manufactured Product Display, Most Dynamic Display, Best Managed Stall, Best Locally Assembled Product Display, Best Motor Car Display, Stall with Best Demonstration, Most Innovative Display and Best Display by Service Sector. Other Merit Awards too would be presented.

Inco with more than 250 exhibiting companies participating, is the most customer focused industrial exhibition and Trade Fair in Sri Lanka and it is a platform for unveiling the most cutting edge breakthroughs in the modern technology.
