Rohitha leads investment promotion mission to Malaysia and Singapore

INVESTMENT MISSION: Minister of Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Rohitha Bogollagama left for Malaysia and Singapore on Sunday on an investment promotion mission.

During the visit, the Minister will meet potential investors in Kuala Lumpur and participate at a round table business discussion with business and industry leaders in Malaysia organised by Chairman Sri Lanka Malaysia Business Council, Chairman Telecom Malaysia Radzi Mansor.

The Minister will also address a media briefing titled" Investing in Sri Lanka". He is expected to meet the Secretary General of Associate Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and will hold individual meetings with investors in Kuala Lumpur.

The Chairman Director General of Board of Investment, Prof Lakshman R. Watawala will also make a presentation on investing in Sri Lanka to potential investors. Bogollagama is scheduled to meet President CEO of Teamsek Holdings Pte Ltd., Ong Boon Hwee in Singapore and visit the Jurong Town Corporation in Singapore.

He is expected to call on Minister of Trade and Industry in Singapore Hu Lim Hmg Kiang.

The Minister will hold meetings with the CEO of Spring Singapore (Singapore's Enterprise Development Agency) Mohammed Mustapha, the Parkway Group and will participate at a business dialogue hosted by Singapore Business Federation.
