THE outcome of the Geneva talks was a great step forward in rebuilding confidence and bringing about a conducive environment for peace, the Government said yesterday. "We are happy to announce that the talks with the LTTE ended on a positive note.

CSC to buy oil tankers

The Ceylon Shipping Corporation (CSC) will buy two oil tankers for import of oil for the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation. They are planning to buy these vessels before middle of this year.
