Soldiers donate blood to Batticaloa Hospital
BATTICALOA: Following an urgent request made by the District Medical
Officer of the Batticaloa General Hospital, 104 Army personnel of the
233 Brigade in Batticaloa had donated blood yesterday.
The DMO had made a plea to the 233 brigade pointing out the shortage
of blood for transfusions to patients at the Batticaloa hospital.
Each soldier donated a pint of blood to meet the requirement of the
Batticaloa General Hospital, the Army Media Unit said. |
