Soldier does a Bobbit

KANDY: A drinking party turned into a gory nightmare at a home in Medagama when a heated altercation led to the murder of a retired policeman by a soldier. According to police, the suspect had hacked the ex-policeman to death before cutting off his penis.

The suspect had first hit the ex-policeman on the head with an empty cannon before hacking him to death. Thereafter, he had cut off the dead man's organ and thrown it into the garden. Mahawela police are investigating.
