THE Udathalawinna murder case trial-at-bar Bench yesterday thanked the Officers of the Criminal Investigations Department who conducted investigations into the killing for their effort in collecting evidence for the trial.

The Bench thanked the Registrar of the Court and the other Court staff including the stenographers who covered the lengthy proceedings. "Our thanks also go to the media for their coverage of the lengthy proceedings," President of the Trial at Bar Deepani Wijesundera said.

The Bench also thanked the prosecution team led by Deputy Solicitor General Palitha Fernando and the Senior and junior defence counsel for their assistance to Court during the trial.
