Academic activities begin on Monday

Academic activities of new entrants to the Galle Advanced Technical Institute will begin on Monday, a press release from the Ministry of Tertiary Education and Training said yesterday.

All registered students are expected to report to the institute by 8.45 a.m. and attend the preliminary course programme which will commence on Monday and continue till January 20.

Lectures will commence on January 23. Galle Advanced Technical Institute Director Vijitha Malani Jayasekera said that lectures of all day courses for senior students will begin on January 23.

Lectures for weekend courses will begin on the week beginning from January 30.
