President to launch 'Hela Veda Rekawarana'

PRESIDENT Mahinda Rajapakse will launch the Hela Veda Rekawarana contributory pension scheme for traditional native physicians at a ceremony at the BMICH, Colombo 8 tomorrow to coincide with the birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike, an Indigenous Medicine Ministry release said.

This scheme operated by the Social Insurance Board will provide a monthly pension and insurance cover to traditional native physicians, the release added.
