New venue for Immigration and Emigration Department

THE Department of Immigration and Emigration at Station Road, Bambalapitiya will be shifted to a new location at No. 41, Ananda Rajakaruna Mawatha, (Punchi Borella Junction), Colombo 10 from January 13, said a senior officer attached to the Immigration and Emigration Department.

Immigration and Emigration Controller P.B. Abeykoon said that the Department will be closed to the public on January 12 to facilitate the shifting. He advised the public to attend to their urgent passport or visa matters before this date.

The office will be open to the public at the new location from January 16. The numbers of the new office are Controller 5329001, Hot Line: 5329000, Fax: 5329003.
