Cathay Pacific launches "Discover the Gold" promotion

CATHAY Pacific Airways announced a new "Discover the Gold" inflight sales promotion, with Goldkenn offering passengers an exciting opportunity to win a 24 carat gold bar with purchases of Goldkenn chocolates. The promotion will run until 31 March 2006.

A piece of gold, weighing five grams and of 999.9 purity, will be placed in one in out of every 20 boxes of Goldkenn Goldbar chocolates sold on Cathay Pacific flights.

Each time passengers buy the chocolates they get the chance to be an instant winner! The promotion is a first for both Cathay Pacific and Goldkenn, adding extra fun for travellers during the New Year period.

Cathay Pacific Inflight Sales & Logistics Manager Cindy Lam said: "On Cathay Pacific, shopping has become as much a part of the inflight entertainment experience as movies, music and food."

Earlier this year Cathay Pacific launched a new preflight order website, www.cathaypacific.com/dutyfree. Passengers can enjoy added convenience by ordering their favourite duty-free items online and then collecting them on their next Cathay Pacific flight departing within two to 21 days of the date of order.

In addition, passengers can get a 10% discount on their preflight order when they spend HK$1,000 or more on a single purchase.
