Singer Trophy Tennis Ball cricket in progress

The all island 15 overs a side Inter-Club Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Tennis Ball Cricket Federation and sponsored by Singer Sri Lanka, commenced under the patronage of its Marketing Manager Kumara Samarasinghe at the Pelawatta Public Ground, Battaramulla.

Jayasri Vetarance SC Kalubowila, Harriot SC Pelawatta and Eleven Hearts SC Kotte qualified for the next round when they defeated Noahrs SC Kotahena, KCC Kotahena and Eleven Hearts SC Kawdana respectively.

In all 251 clubs from all parts of the island including North and East Provinces are competing in this tournament.

Preliminary round matches of the tournament is scheduled to be played on district basis in the next few weeks.
