All must unite to defeat terrorism - National Bhikkhu Front

THE National Bhikkhu Front in a media release yesterday emphasised the Tamil People's urgent need of the hour to identify deeply the war mongering and killing mania of the LTTE who pretend to be their liberators but resort to wanton killing of their own confidantes as well as their opponents.

The LTTE by assassinating TNA MP, Joseph Pararajasingham on the Christmas Day at St. Mary's Church, Batticoloa, has proved once again that the LTTE are not liberators of the Tamil people.

The peace loving Tamil people who are part and parcel of the Citizenry of Sri Lanka must join all the peace loving forces to defeat the LTTE terrorism with courage and determination, stated the media release.

It further said that when the Government is making all efforts to resume the stalled peace talks, the LTTE is persistently moving ahead with their killing spree with the hope of installing a sense of fear to achieve their ultimate goal.

But a people standing for dignified peace should not be awe-struck and discouraged but must unite as one to find the ways and means to defeat terrorism ignoring all communal and other types of differences, the media release stated.
