Anura - Yasir in Open final

ANURA Hewage of John Keells and Yasir Issadeen of Alfalink International reached the men's final beating Kavinda Cooray and Mohamed Rizwan. Somesh Jhingon of Lanka IOC Ltd., showed a remarkable improvement to beat Deshan Devasagayam of MAS Active to reach the semi-finals in the Men's Novices.

All the finals will be played at the Fingara Town and Country Club today and tomorrow.

Men's Open: Yasir Issadeen beat Mohamed Rizwan 9-6, 9-2, 9-7, Anura Hewage beat Kavinda Cooray 7-9, 9-1, 9-4, 9-3.

Men's over 45 finals: Lakdasa Cooray beat Jayasinghe 9-4, 4-9, 5-9, 9-6, 9-2, Captain Milinda Ratnayake beat Sarath de Silva 10-8, 9-2, 9-2.

Men's over 35 final: Mohamed Rizwan beat Rajiv Veersundaram 9-1, 9-2, 10-8.
