The Cabinet greenlight was also given to a memorandum by President

credit agreement between Sri Lanka and India for the purchase of wheat
from India, to include the import of buses.
A proposal of Minister Douglas Devananda to set up social care
centres in divisional secretariats affected by the tsunami also received
Cabinet approval.
