Judicial Service Assn annual conference

THE annual conference of the Judicial Service Association (JSA) will be held today at the Ceylon Continental Hotel, Colombo at 9 a.m.

President Mahinda Rajapakse, Chief Justice Sarath N. Silva PC. Members of the Judicial Service Commission, Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranayake and Justice T.B. Weerasuriya, Justice Minister Amarasiri Dodangoda, Deputy Justice Minister Dilan Perera and Sri Lanka UNDP Country Director Abu Selim will attend the inaugural ceremony.

This event is sponsored for the second successive year by the "Equal Access to Justice Project" of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), which is executed through the Ministry of Constitutional Affairs and National Integration.

President Chief Justice and UNDP Country Director will address the sessions.

Welcome address will be by JSA President L.T.B. Dehideniya. Vote of thanks will be delivered by JSA Secretary Sisira Ratnayake.
