President to meet Ranil, Karu

President Mahinda Rajapakse is to meet with Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and Deputy Leader of the UNP Karu Jayasuriya today at 4.00 p.m.

This is the first official meeting between the President and Wickremesinghe after Rajapakse was elected as the President.

UNP sources told the Daily News that Wickremesinghe must follow the moral highground and offer to cooperate fully with the President.
