Sri Lankan Tamil expatriates in Europe demand LTTE ban

Sri Lankan expatriates living in Europe have staged a demonstration in Brussels, Belgium, condemning the ruthless killing spree committed by the LTTE in the island and elsewhere in the world, reports "The Lanka Academic".

This was the first time, according to reports, that Tamil expatriates organised themselves to denounce Tamil Tiger atrocities on innocent civilians. The protest held opposite the Belgian Parliament demanded the enforcement of an immediate banning on the LTTE in Europe.

Representatives from Tamil Organisations in European countries had participated in this demonstration.
