Switzerland to construct National Labour Study Institute here
The Swiss Government has agreed to construct a building for the
National Labour Study Institute for government officers, private sector
managers and trade union officers.
The Swiss Government will also provide infrastructure facilities,
Ambassador of Switzerland Bernaduio Regazzour told Labour Relations and
Foreign Employment Minister Athauda Seneviratne at the Ministry. The
Minister said this will be the first institute of this nature.
He said scholars will be awarded certificates and diploma
certificates and the institute will be promoted to a university in the
future.
Seneviratne said human resource skills will be developed to national
level, further training provided, productivity will uplift and
programmes conducted regarding responsibilities of labour, trade union
leaders and employees and labour laws. |
