Policy reforms for SME development in SAARC countries

MINISTER for Enterprise Development and Investment Promotions Rohitha Bogollagama will inaugurate an International Convention on Policy Reforms for SME Development in SAARC Countries at the Trans Asia Hotel today at 9.00 a.m.

This convention is organised by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) and Small and Medium Enterprise Developers (SMED).

A team of professionals from the SAARC region will present research papers on SME policy reforms in their respective countries to an audience of academics, government officials and private sector chambers representing the SAARC countries.

At the conclusion of the convention on December 3, findings and recommendations will be presented in the form of "Colombo declaration on Policy Reforms for SME Development in SAARC Countries".
