Baby M. N. F. Zaharaniya of No. 37, Wattalpola Road, Henamulla, Panadura is suffering from an acute heart ailment. She has been recommended to undergo an early surgery which is estimated to cost around Rs. 350,000.

Rs. 40,000 has been allocated by the President's Fund for the purpose and the child's father M. S. M. Nislan says he is unable to foot the bill due to his economic plight.

He appeals philanthropists and the general public to assist him to save his daughter's life by sending whatever possible donations to Account No. 0400-1448027-101 opened for the purpose at the Panadura Henamulla Branch of the Seylan Bank.
