To the New President

Today is seventeenth November,
Two thousand five, cements a year of hope
For a better Lanka that never was in the past
Of the commoner and the rich as a gate
To unite the foes with might undivided
For peace, harmony, serenity, and trust
In the name of milk of humane kindness
Inside the man whom the populace chose right
Let's pray, and let charm be his weaponry
for courage
For him to play his cards diligently, pillage not of
his guts
We are now over the showers of lies weaved
for power
Having the Bags of promises flooded blocked over
Until the battle of wits flows next
When will it be again, we do know not
Life of the commoner will flow as before
Priding, him as his knight in shining armour
But lets make no mistake of regrets
For their woes to become neglect
In midst of inbred woes of the Nation.

And that is the question!
Of thy, the Nation!
Let courage be with him
To spin for means of the soil
And not spoil but with will
Designing subjects to labour well disciplined
Fortifying fortitude of "Chintana" to its utmost
Then you will be a king of kings my son, of
thy nation
Conquering its heart to the brim
Housed in action.
