MTI in strategic alliance with Marte of Mexico

Marte, Mexico's fastest growing branding consultancy, has teamed up with MTI in a strategic business partnership that is aimed at servicing taking MTI's solutions to the untapped Latino continent.

Executive Director, Marte, Rene Martinez and CEO, MTI Consulting Hilmy Cader after the partnership agreement.

The alliance between the two consulting firms came out of a meeting at Harvard Business School between Marte's CEO Javier Welsh and MTI's CEO Hilmy Cader, both of whom were on an executive education programme on brand power.

Marte, is widely considered as an emerging Branch Consulting force with a forte in Branch Identity and Branding Solutions. Rene Martinez, Executive Director of Marte, who was recently in Sri Lankan on a familiarisation visit said that the Company was delighted at the opportunity of being associated with MTI. "We look forward to blending their strategy consulting expertise with our brand competencies in understanding and harnessing the South American markets," he said.

Stressing the need for a partnership of this magnitude, MTI's Hilmy Cader said that the emerging markets of Latin America offered tremendous potential for Consulting Solutions.

"However, language and geo-distance considerations have made it a challenging task for companies like MTI to operate directly," he said, adding that a strategic alliance of this nature was therefore imperative.

"We now have a mutually beneficial relationship with a fast growing consultancy that understands the market and has access to the entire continent," he said, which he expressed as a positive step in expanding MTI's global reach.

Under the new Agreement, MTI is expected to develop Marte's Consultants on the 'MTI Way' and its cutting edge Solutions.

MTI is already in the process of customising and localising its solutions to suit the varied markets in Latin America and is also preparing to strengthen the new market with some of its senior International Consultants.

Karin Schetelig, MTI's Europe based Consultant will bring the newest venture under her wing, with frequent visits to MTI's projects in Latin America. MTI's UK based Trihan Perera will take overall responsibility for Europe and Americas.

MTI's international network is currently expanding at a phenomenal rate, now serving cross-industry clients in overs 28 countries through its offices in Great Britain, Bahrain, Dubai, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
