Indoor cricket finals Nov. 10

The long awaited finals of the very competitive International Schools Indoor Cricket Tournament will be held at Austasia Sports Club on Thursday Nov. 10 and will be telecast on Sirasa TV on Friday, Nov. 11 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The final is between Lyceum International School, Nugegoda and Royal International Kurunegala. Both teams have played a series of gruelling matches to come to this stage.

Title sponsor Elephant Lemonade is proud to be a part of the tournament which has drawn much interest amongst the schools with over 11 teams taking part in Colombo and in the districts during its preliminary rounds. The selectors from The Ceylon Indoor Cricket Association has had a tough task in selecting players to represent the National Development Squad.

The names will be announced at the finals.

The highlight of this tournament is the visiting under 19 Indian Indoor Cricket Team which will play with the teams that qualified to the semis and finals over the weekend. They play for the "CICA Chairman's Trophy".

Lyceum International School co-ordinated this Tournament with CICA and it has undoubtedly been a tremendous success so far.
