Roshane Silva going great runs

All-rounder Roshane Shiwanka Silva of St. Joseph's College has already made his presence felt in the current inter-school cricket season with some outstanding contributions with bat and ball.

The right hander has collected 244 runs with two half centuries and has also captured nine wickets. In the Under 17 cricket tournament he scored 385 runs with five fifties and captured 13 wickets.

Last year he topped the batting averages for St. Joseph's College with 71.33 with a total of 856 runs from 15 outings including two centuries and six half centuries.

Roshane Silva toured Malaysia with the Sri Lanka Schools under 17 team and was a stand-by for the Under 17 Asia Cup tournament last year.
