Blue Diamonds launch international brand

BLUE DIAMOND Jewellery Worldwide Limited has launched a new international brand of jewellery - 'Sicille' with exclusive designs.

Blue Diamond Jewellery Worldwide, an exporter of diamond jewellery was the first to export jewellery from Sri Lanka under a brand name. Their premier brand name being 'Fior-Drissage'.

It has been Deputy Chairperson Ceylinco Consolidated Mrs. Sicille Kotelawala's desire to launch another line of jewellery under international brand name.

A lot of work was put into this project starting with the creation of new designs, product colours, packaging, point of sale material and display units.

The end result, a dazzling collection of diamond jewellery for the international market. Ceylinco Consolidated, introduced a delightful make of diamonds referred to as the Colombo Make and much sought after by the international polished diamonds trade.

Ceylinco is also one of the pioneers in the export of coloured gemstones from Sri Lanka. Much thought was given to the branding of this new line of jewellery.

Ironically, the new range of 'Sicille' diamond jewellery was launched in early October 2005 and the first export was dispatched on October 29, birthday of Dr. Lalith Kotelawala.

Sri Lanka is wellknown the world over for its gemstones and craftsmanship. It was Mrs. Kotelawala's desire to establish jewellery salons both here in Sri Lanka and abroad to sell lines of jewellery produced in our country.
