'People's agenda' promises will be kept: Ranil
 

All promises in the 'people's agenda' will be implemented, said Opposition and UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Addressing a rally Rambukkana town, he said his aim was to unite all Sri Lankans.

Wickremesinghe said he was vying for the Presidency with the support of a number of progressive parties that support him to guarantee his victory. Wickremesinghe said his aim was to unite all people of all religious denominations and ethnic groups to unite the country and bring peace and prosperity to all in a unitary State.

"It is only through such a method that lasting peace could be ushered and development continued for the welfare and progress of the country," he said.
