Swarnamahal Property Developers expands operations

The company commenced operations this year with an initial investment of Rs.150 million. Since its first project, they received high demand for developed lands, which provides a hassle free environment to promote stylish living and a secure neighbourhood for customers.
The company had a surprise interest for its first project, Hilltop residence at Battaramulla.
The company was able to sell all the plots before it was launched.
SPD's Director and CEO Hafeez Rajudin said that this response was mainly due to its customer-focused strategies to fulfil their basic requirements by realising the need for improved lifestyles.
The Company in addition to developing the lands provides electricity, water, sanitary and waste disposal systems, which enable customers to begin construction with the entire basic infrastructure in place.
"We will invest a further Rs. 200 million in a bid to focus more on customer satisfaction and to provide them diversified, value added solution on their needs. He said the company is geared to offer its clientele diversified service and providing housing needs in near future."
SPD will also focus on building modern and stylish homes designed by architects according to requirements of customers.
Every person has different kinds of housing needs and we expect to provide them another solution such as designing and building the house in customers own land and it is part of our long term plan," he said.

Swarnamahal Financial Service (Pvt) Ltd General Manager Anurudda Wijekoon said although difficult to find lands within Colombo city limits, the company doesn't have any problem on acquisition of properties because vendors are coming with lands on the trust of Swarnamahal. "We are at the negotiating level to develop new properties at Malabe, Beddagana, Dehiwela, Pepiliyana, Parliament Road and Battaramulla.
The company will also expand its service by acquiring lands in outstations too.
SPD provides assistance to obtain bank loans by getting approval from local authorities. On payment of 5 percent of the total amount customer can reserve the land," he said.
"We are in the process of developing corporate campaigns. This will make people aware. The company is doing a survey to improve credibility and confidence by providing the best customer solutions at reasonable prices," he said.
