More lucrative jobs for Java programmers

President Sun Certified Java Professionals Association, Ishantha Siribaddana said that the employment potential in the IT market is under utilised.

He says that there is a revolutionary path to enter into high End of the IT job market by becoming a Java programmer.

According to internet salary survey reports in USA, Sun certified Java programmers draw a salary of 78,000 US$ annually (Monthly Rs 600,000).

Today the microprocessors of almost all-home appliances like watches, microwave ovens, washing machines, TVs, radios, cassettes, musical instruments and refrigerators are programmed with Java. All scientific, medical, mechanical equipment, are also programmed with Java. Most of the electronic converting units (ECU) of motor cars are programmed with Java.

Most of the computer programmers said it is boring to write code to build software by using various languages. "With only O/L and without any other IT certification a person would gain employment starting around Rs. 20000 at software development company and other one who had a degree from a recognized university changed his job with the salary increment of Rs: 20000 to Rs. 40000.
