UPFA Presidential candidate Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse launched his election manifesto at the BMICH yesterday. One of the priority areas of his manifesto is Industrial development. He plans to set up 12 investment zones and convert the townships where the zones are located into 12 major cities. In addition he proposes to promote 300 new industries in every Divisional Secretariat division.
