Global Investment seeks listing next year
 

GLOBAL Investment Lanka Limited (GILL) is to be listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange from next year. Managing Director GILL, Phylix Selvadurai, said that arrangements in this regard have been made. The GILL, which launched an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to raise Rs. 550 million on October 4 is also hoping to launch their own finance company early next year.

Kallis and Flintoff share Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy
 

All-rounder South African Jacque Kallis shared the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy with England's Andrew Flintoff and won the Best Test Player of the Year at the Hyundai ICC Awards ceremony held in association with FICA in the Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney today.
