Mangala urges Sajith to bare Jana Suwaya details

Minister Mangala Samaraweera yesterday said they were going to hand over the files pertaining to 'Jana Suwaya Fund' of Hambantota to the CID if UNP MP Sajith Premadasa fails to divulge details of this fund, within 48 hours.

"This fund has received Rs. 2 billion through the Seylan Bank this year for tsunami assistance.

We challenge the UNP MP to come out with the details and he is keeping mum about the whole affair, the Minister said yesterday at the weekly UPFA press conference.
