Sulanga Enu Pinisa

THE Producer cum-Director of the film Sulanga Enu Pinisa has requested the film's distributer, The National Film Corporation of Sri Lanka to suspend its screening, a National Film Corporation release said.

Responding to the request, a mere change of a couple of cinema halls does not affect the anticipated overall revenue out of a film and that the Film Corporation, in the interest of film fans, will continue the screening at 10 cinema halls where it is screened because Sulanga Enu Pinisa is a film that has won the "Cannes Cinema Award, 2005".
