Needs Help

Infant I.M. Imesh Dilshan of Paragaswewa, Melsiripura is suffering from a complex cyanotic congenital heart disease. Dr. K. Sivakumar, Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist Apollo Hospital has recommended an urgent heart surgery (Arterial Switch operation) to save his life.

The Surgery is estimated to cost Rs. 395,000. The infants father I.N. Chaminda Pushpakumara said he has sought assistance from the Presidents fund to meet part of the cost. He says he is unable to foot the balance cost due to his present financial plight.

He requests philanthropists and the general public to assist his child's cause by sending whatever financial contributions possible to help expedite the surgery. All contributions should be remitted to account number 1-023463-3 at the Bank of Ceylon, Melsiripura branch.

Hasitha Tharaka, 11, of 239/A, Ellagama, Diyatalawa suffers from a severe heart ailment. Dr. Aruna Kapuruge, Consultant Cardiothorasic Surgeon has recommended an early surgery to be performed at Jayawardenapura Hospital which cost Rs. 235,000.

Patients' father W. M. Jayarathna appeals to general public to contribute towards this cause as he is unable to foot this bill due to his present financial plight. Contributions could be remitted to account No. 1-007643-1 or 1-001876-8 at Bank of Ceylon, Diyatalawa.
