Sirisoma eyeing for 15th national title

The defending champion K. H. Sirisoma cruised to the semi-final of the National Billiard Championship which is in progress at the Billiard Headquarters tables, Reid Avenue. In the quarter final Sirisoma defeated S. M. Sharwardhi of Moors Sports Club comfortably 638 point to 334.

Another veteran cueist Henry Boteju too made his way to the semis outcueing Sunil de Silva of Otters AC with a heavy margin. 752-242. S. H. M. Aslam. Moors SC and Naresh Samarawickrema from YMBA Galle are the other two cueists to qualify for the semis. They outpointed M. Sethupathy and W. A. J. Weerasinghe respectively.

In the semis, Sirisoma takes on S. H. M. Aslam while Boteju meets Samarawickrema.
