SLMMF condemns attack on Sudar Oli

The Sri Lanka Muslim Media Forum had strongly condemned the bomb attack on the "Sudar Oli" Newspaper.

The SLMMF also requested the authorities. to take appropriate action to stop attacks of this nature. The SLMMF issuing a media release stated that the bomb attack to a Colombo based Media Institution is a major threat to the media. By this type of action the public of the Country will not be able to receive information to the incidents occurring in the country.

All people who had faith in democracy should condemn actions of this nature.

The SLMMF sends its deepest sympathies to the bereaved family of David Selvaratnam, a Security Officer of the "Sudar Oli" who was killed in the bomb attack.
