Dialog releases confirmed data on IPO allocations

DIALOG Telekom yesterday released the final and confirmed data pertaining to Sri Lanka's largest IPO which was oversubscribed within an hour on the day of opening on July 7, 2005.

Shares of Dialog Telekom are expected to commence trading on the Colombo Stock Exchange, on July 28 under the signature "Dial" a company release said.

CEO MTN Networks Ltd, Dr. Hans Wijayariya told a media felicitation night last Wednesday that Sri Lanka has a capital market second to none.

The Dialog IPO has been confirmed to have established several milestones and performance records on Sri Lanka's capital market, thereby adding a new dimension of dynamism to the Colombo Bourse already recognised as one of the best performing in Asia and the World.

The company will commence dispatching refund cheques on July 22 which is 7 days ahead of the stipulated period permitted by the CSE for the dispatch of refunds.

Dialog Telekom will set a new IPO standard in making a token interest payment on all cheque based refunds, not withstanding the fact that the refunds them selves are being made in advance of the stipulated date.

Cheque refunds amounting to Rs. 6.3 billion will attract the token interest payment, which the company expects will total to approximately Rs 6.2 Million.

Subsequent to the provisional allocation details released on Monday, July 11, 2005, the final allocation details confirmed by the registrar SSP Corporate Services (Pvt) Ltd., and Managers to the issue NDB Investment Bank are given below, by Investor category:
