Inner Wheel to build 20 houses for tsunami victims

A delegation of four Inner Wheel members and two Rotarains from Belgium Luxembourg visited IW Dist 322 Sri Lanka recently and they have pledged to build permanent houses for 20 families affected by tsunami in Kosgoda.

Besides this, IW Clubs of Australia, UK, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, and some other personal donors have contributed towards this project. Each of these houses would cost Rs. 325,000. This project is handled by a committee of IW members of Dist. 322.

A community Center which would help in vocational trainning is also being constructed by the Inner Wheel Club of Colombo West under the supervision of Ven. Vajirabuddhi Thera in the Abeyawardhanaramaya premises in Kosgoda.
