SB spent over Rs. 20 m to build Hanguranketha residence - IP

Former Minister S. B. Dissanayake had built his Hanguranketha residence at a cost of over Rs. 20.3 million while also purchasing a car worth US $ 26,500 on his permit in 1997, stated IP E. K. Don Chandrapala examined by the Deputy Director General of the Bribery Commission Mallika Liyanage.

This transpired during at the evidence yesterday before High Court Judge Ms. Rohini Perera hearing the bribery case against S. B. Dissanayake.
